To date, we facilitate a weekly bible study in Lavergne, Tennessee where we teach the percepts of victorious living…the Bible’s way. Secondly, we publish a quarterly newsletter for forty men and women in both federal and state prisons, and local jails throughout the United States. Thirdly, we have been charge by God to be “difference makers” in the lives of those we met during our travels in 2006. In Nairobi Kenya we adopted two villages of children and widows who are affected by HIV Aids, malaria as well as multiple disabilities. The team here at PRCF sees us as fishermen of men. Our mission is to “catch” the fish (evangelism), “clean” the fish (discipleship), and to ultimately help them find their stream of ministry. Mark 1:17 “And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you fishermen of men.” PRCF is a ministry where people experience the epiphany that Peter experienced the day he was faced with the life changing question, “Who do men say that I am?” PRCF is a bridge men use as they cross over from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God’s love. Since 1991, Evangelist Stephens has devoted his time and energy communicating and encouraging the saved while compelling the lost. Through his quarterly newsletter he provokes a lifestyle of holiness, righteousness and purity. In the few years since inception, many who have encountered this man of God have received Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Others have been reconciled to their loved ones and families. PRCF is a holistic ministry and purpose to “find a need…to fill it, see a hurt and heal it”. Our goal is to establish a half-way house as a safe place for those who are disenfranchised and/or have experienced our legal system. We desire to finance the digging of a well for those in Nairobi, Kenya (Gong Hills). We will continue to assess, explore and support other villages in Africa as we expand the vision to be the “hands and feet of God in the earth”. Jesus said in Matthew 25:40 “Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it to one of the least of my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Peter’s Rock Christian Fellowship is honored for this Godly assignment to minister both nationally and internationally.
